Terence Pay

Terence Pay is Verfides’ Group Head of Tax.  He has a strong practice and expertise in international tax structuring for both corporates and individuals.  On the corporate side, he advises on cross-border structuring and reorganisations.  Terence is an expert on the taxation of UK resident non-domiciliaries and advises internationally-mobile families, their business structures and trusts on complex UK immigration and remittance issues.  Terence also has significant expertise in the real estate sector, advising on UK real estate investments and developments on both direct and indirect tax matters (including VAT and Stamp Duties).  He is also called upon to represent corporate and individual clients in HMRC enquiries and negotiations.  Terence graduated from the University of Bath in 1997 and previous roles include at PwC where he qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) in the UK in 2000, and a London-based boutique tax advisory firm. Terence joined Verfides in 2009 and was awarded the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT) in June 2011.
